What is the difference between HydraFacial versus DiamondGlow Treatment?
The DiamondGlow® treatment is a general dermabrasion device that gently removes the top layer of skin and delivers topical cosmetic serums onto the skin. It is designed to help hydrate, brighten, and rejuvenate your skin. It is an alternative to invasive laser resurfacing techniques with the same results.
The DiamondGlow treatment uses a combination of a precision diamond tip to match your skin’s needs and serums to help you achieve the most beautiful skin possible.
How does the DiamondGlow treatment work?
The DiamondGlow treatment begins by removing dirt, dead skin and makeup residue. The Diamond Glow Facial has a 3 in 1 technology. As it is exfoliating the skin, it is also extracting and infusing serum.
The Hydrafacial treatment is similar in the fact that it exfoliates, extracts and infuses. HydraFacial super serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instantly gratifying glow in just 3 steps.
The biggest differences with these facials is the tips used: Hydrafacial has a plastic tip. DiamondGlow has a diamond tip.
Both have options to be more aggressive when necessary and depending on the patient.
Hydrafacial incorporates more acids and includes a chemical peel and boosters. Along with perks for lips and eyes. DiamondGlow infuses serums and the interchangeable smooth tip allows Estheticians to go around the eyes and lips all in the same treatment.
Both machines are amazing. One is not better than the other. Our Estheticians will choose the machine that’s best for you with several thoughts in mind. As aestheticians we like to flip flop between the both, but is not a must.
