Aesthetic injecting is a skill that improves through repetition, direct feedback, and time spent with a live patient in front of you. Conference lectures and online modules can teach you product profiles and facial anatomy, but they cannot correct your needle angle, adjust your depth in real time, or explain why the result you just created looks slightly off. Private injector training closes that gap by putting an experienced injector beside you while you work, so the correction happens in the moment rather than weeks later when you are reviewing a disappointing photo.
Viva Vitality MedSpa offers private injector training in Lakeland, Florida, built around three courses at three distinct experience levels. Each course pairs focused anatomy and product review with a live injection session, so attendees leave having actually treated patients rather than having only watched someone else treat them. Whether you are still building confidence with lips and cheeks or you are ready to expand into full-body Sculptra, there is a session matched to where you actually are.
Viva Vitality MedSpa has been serving Central Florida since 2000, and the practice built its reputation on natural-looking injectable results rather than volume. That philosophy carries directly into how training is taught here.
Our injector training courses are structured by experience level rather than by license type, because a provider two months into aesthetics and one five years in need very different things from a training day. Reviewing the three course descriptions below will help you place yourself accurately, and our team is glad to talk it through if you fall between levels.
Training is intended for licensed medical professionals whose scope of practice permits aesthetic injections in Florida. If you are unsure whether your license and supervision arrangement qualify you to attend, contact us before booking, and we will help you confirm.
New to intermediate injectors, zero to three years of experience. Four hours.
This is the starting point for providers who are new to injecting or still building confidence with their core techniques. The session opens with facial anatomy relevant to the upper face, lips, and midface, with attention to the vascular structures and danger zones that matter most when you are early in your career. From there, we cover the meaningful differences between available neurotoxin and filler products, including how onset, spread, and longevity should influence which product you reach for.
The second half of the course moves into a live injection session where attendees treat patients under supervision. You will work through neurotoxin placement as well as lip and cheek technique, with real-time correction on entry point, depth, angle, and volume. The goal is that you leave able to reproduce these treatments independently the following week.
Injectors with one or more years of neurotoxin experience. Three hours.
This course is built for providers who already inject neurotoxin regularly and want to sharpen their results in the upper face. We focus specifically on the glabella, crow’s feet, and frontalis, which are the three areas where small differences in dosing and placement produce the most visible difference between an average result and an excellent one. Attendees review muscle interplay, compensatory movement, and how to plan a treatment that ages well over the full life of the product.
Live injection makes up the core of this session. Because attendees arrive with existing skill, the emphasis shifts from basic technique to refinement, including how to correct asymmetry, avoid brow heaviness, and adjust dosing for different muscle strength and facial shapes.
Injectors with two or more years of Sculptra experience. Four hours.
Body Sculptra is a different discipline from facial Sculptra, and this course assumes you already have the facial work down. We cover reconstitution and dilution strategy for body treatment, volume planning across larger surface areas, and the technique differences involved in treating areas such as the buttocks, thighs, upper arms, and abdomen. Attendees also work through candidate selection and how to set realistic expectations for a treatment where results build gradually over months.
The session includes live injection on body areas under supervision. Attendees bring their own patients for this course, and the number of patients you bring shapes how the four hours are structured, so we confirm those details with you when you register.
Course | Experience Level | Length | Primary Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
Foundations: Neurotoxin, Lips, and Cheeks | 0 to 3 years injecting | 4 hours | Anatomy, product differences, core neurotoxin and filler technique |
Advanced Neurotoxin | 1+ year neurotoxin | 3 hours | Glabella, crow’s feet, frontalis refinement |
Sculptra Body | 2+ years Sculptra | 4 hours | Dilution, volume planning, body area technique |

Viva Vitality MedSpa is located on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland, which puts us within easy reach of most of Polk County and the wider Tampa Bay region. Because injector training draws providers from a broader radius than routine appointments, we regularly host attendees traveling in from across Central Florida. Lakeland sits directly along the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando, so the drive is manageable from either metro area.
We welcome training attendees from:
Choose based on how long you have been injecting the specific treatment, not how long you have been in aesthetics overall. Foundations suits providers in their first three years who want a solid base in neurotoxin, lips, and cheeks. Advanced Neurotoxin assumes at least a year of regular neurotoxin work, and Sculptra Body assumes two or more years of Sculptra experience. If you are unsure, call us and describe your current caseload.
Yes. Every course includes a live injection session where you treat patients under supervision, with correction happening in real time rather than after the fact. Anatomy and product review come first, so you understand the reasoning, then you inject.
Courses use the products we work with daily at Viva Vitality, including Botox, Dysport, hyaluronic acid fillers, and Sculptra, depending on which session you take. Product differences are part of the curriculum rather than an afterthought, since knowing when to reach for one neurotoxin over another is a real clinical skill.
For Sculptra Body, yes. Attendees bring their own patients, and how many you bring determines how the four hours are structured. For Foundations and Advanced Neurotoxin, we confirm arrangements with you when you book.
All training is led by Brenda Pribila, MSN, NP-C, founder of Viva Vitality MedSpa. She is a nationally recognized board-certified aesthetic injector, trainer, and Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery with more than 12 years in aesthetic medicine.
Training is held at our Lakeland location at 2015 South Florida Avenue. Because it happens inside a fully operating med spa, you see real workflow alongside the technique instruction.
Many injectors do, either back-to-back or spaced out as their experience grows. Foundations builds the base for lips and cheeks, Advanced Neurotoxin sharpens upper face work once you have logged more hours, and Sculptra Body opens up an entirely different service line. Tell us your longer-term goals, and we can help you sequence them.
Bring your license documentation, something to take notes with, and any specific cases from your own practice you want to work through. Comfortable clothing helps since you will be on your feet. If you are bringing a patient, they should arrive with the treatment area clean and free of makeup.
Whether you are refining your lip technique or expanding into full-body Sculptra, the fastest path to better results is time spent with an experienced injector who can correct you as you work. Viva Vitality MedSpa offers private injector training in Lakeland, FL, built around exactly that, with live patients and a curriculum drawn from a working aesthetic practice.
